Immunity Boosting Tips for Covid-19

This is an incredibly difficult time for everybody to get through and everybody is requesting immunity boosting tips for Covid-19. I realize that most of the world is being overtaken by fear and anxiety and unfortunately those are probably the two biggest threats to our health. We can take all the precautionary measures of staying home and practicing social distancing, but unfortunately, those things aren’t going to help us combat negative emotions. If, while we are staying home, we are glued to the news and obsessed with watching the charts and graphs continuing to rise indicating more and more infections, we are just setting ourselves up to lower our own immunity.

I realize that it’s very difficult not to obsess over this terrible situation, but I can tell you this . . . All the obsessing and worrying is not going to help the situation. Before I get into some specific energy medicine things you can do to help boost your immune system, I want to share a couple of resources that others have made available.

First, I want to share a video from everyone’s favorite mindfulness guru, Deepak Chopra. The title of this video is “Emotions Are More Contagious Than COVID-19.” The video is 25 minutes long, but I really urge you to take a break from the world news and watch this instead. It may be the most important thing you do today!

Now that you’ve got a grasp on how important emotions are during this pandemic, it’s time to focus on gratitude, forgiveness, joy, etc and our energetic entanglements. It’s time to become responsible for the energy we are putting out into the Universe, as well as be vigilant about what we decide to expose ourselves to. It’s a choice that you make. You can choose to put your awareness on whatever positive thing you can find. And how can you do that? In one word, meditation.

I have a list of immunity-boosting tips, but I’m going to start with the most important one. There is nothing more powerful you can do to boost your immunity right now than to set aside some time every day for meditation, where you can focus on gratitude. There are many free resources online for guided meditations on Amazon music, Youtube, etc. If you can’t find or don’t want to use guided meditation, just sit quietly and focus on deep breathing. Every time you take a deep breath in, mentally say “I am grateful for my health.” Breath out, and then on your next deep breath in, come up with another thing you are grateful for. Just repeat this process and please know that you can be grateful for things that have not even happened yet. For instance, you can be grateful for “The Covid-19” virus subsiding in my city, state, country, the world.”

Another great resource is to utilize an energy psychology tool called tapping. It’s easy to do and very powerful. This is probably one of the most powerful energy medicine procedures that you can do for yourself, right at home, without the need to really understand how it works. Just do it!

The next best, quickest, and easiest immunity boost is thumping your thymus. This really gives a boost to your immune system. Using all of your fingertips or knuckles of one hand, tap or thump vigorously in the middle of your chest (as shown by the blue dot to the right) while taking 3 deep breaths. Do this several times a day, as often as you can. Don’t underestimate the power of this one point!

 

Here is a new immunity boost that I just learned. It is related to “grounding.” Remember, grounding is key to good health. We must stay grounded to the earth in order to stay healthy. It is our foundation! For a refresher on things to help get you grounded, click here. To do this new exercise:

  1. Activate the Earthly flow of energy from beneath you by stretching your arms straight down and pointing both hands downward to beneath your feet. Focus your attention about 3 feet below the ground.
  2. Breathe in and mentally pull the energy up from the ground and into your feet and legs. Imagine it traveling up your calves, knees, thighs, hips.
  3. Follow the motion of this energy with your hands and as it enters your central column through the midline of your body. Raise both hands (fingers pointed towards the ground) to be level with the energy as it rises up. When your hands/energy are at the level of your Crown Center (top of head), point your fingers upward as your arms stretch up and hands ascend above your head.
  4. When your arms are at full extension, with the fingers of both hands above your head pointing up, move your arms down around your sides of your body, pointing outward. Keep your arms fully extended and bring your arms back down to your sides.
  5. At the bottom of the movement, your fingers are pointing to below your feet – where you started the exercise. Repeat the complete movement, bringing the energy up from the ground, to over your head, and sweep it down your sides for 7 complete cycles.

Now for something totally different and impossible to explain. Just keep an open mind and know that you have nothing to lose by giving this a try. Please know that I believe 100% in the magic of something called “Biogeometry” and I am throwing myself completely into studying more about it. Then print out and cut out a small photograph of yourself and tape it to the center of the printout. Make sure it fits in the middle and doesn’t cover any of the symbols (as shown below).

Hang this piece of paper in your house and wipe off any dust that may accumulate on it every day. If you want to reprint it once a week that would also be helpful. Please try to remain calm, be smart, stay home, and know that this too will pass. We will all get through it, we will learn a lot, and come out on the other side better human beings. The Power of Mandalas

I am currently reading a wonderful book on the Chakra System called “Eastern Body Western Mind – Psychology and the Chakra System as a Path to the Self” by Anodea Judith. This book is like the bible of the chakra system and the author is a well-known expert on the topic. Even with my extensive knowledge of the chakras from my Eden Energy Medicine and Pranic healing training, I am still learning so much. I consider Anodea to be one of the foremost experts in the field of chakras so when I noticed that she recommended mandalas as a way to balance the Third Eye chakra, I sat up and took notice.

The word mandala is Sanskrit and means literally “circle.” Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe and are symbols that reflect wholeness. The circular designs symbolize the idea that life is never-ending and everything is connected. Mandalas are often used as instruments of meditation because the designs help to remove irritating thoughts and allow the creative mind to run free as well as relax.

In Hinduism and Buddhism, the belief is that by entering the mandala and proceeding towards its center, you are guided through the cosmic process of transforming the universe from one of suffering into one of joy and happiness. You can use mandalas when you mediate to help calm and center the body and mind.

How to use the mandalas in meditation

To bring about inner transformation, first, select a mandala that strongly appeals to you. Next, focus on the intention that you want to bring into your life while you take in the beautiful design of the mandala by gently gazing at it. If your mind starts to drift simply bring it back to the beautiful design. The beauty of the mandala should absorb all your attention and it should gradually start to relax you.

To make it even easier to focus all of your attention on the mandala try coloring the design with colored markers or pencils. You will be amazed at how much a simple act can immediately calm your nervous system.

How Your Mind Plays an Important Role in Your Diet

One of the biggest and most common health concerns is managing our weight. It is becoming a very large challenge because there are so many things working against us. Our food industry, with the never-ending additives, preservatives, and processed foods, seems to be on a mission to keep us unhealthy and overweight and maintaining a healthy weight becomes a struggle for all of us. But here is a unique look at managing your weight that I’m betting not many people haven’t considered . . .

What would you say if I told you that your thoughts are controlling your metabolism? And that you might be able to control your weight with your mind? I’m not suggesting that you lay on the couch and imagine you’re running a marathon (however, that has also been scientifically proven to be effective), but instead just reframe your mind when it comes to eating.

One study that I read a long time ago was about simply being grateful for the food that you are about to consume. Religious people have known this for centuries and that is why many say grace before eating. But taking the religion out of the equation, simply being present and grateful for the food you consume reframes your mindset around eating. Just imagine all that had to happen for that food to be on your plate . . . all the people that had something to do with it getting to you. Thank them all, thank Mother Nature and the farmers for growing it, thank the truck drivers that hauled it to your local store, thank the clerks at the store and everyone else you can think of. Thank your employer for giving you the paycheck that allowed you to purchase the food. Putting yourself in a state of gratitude before your first bite will make a big difference in how your body responds to the food. Also, note that it is much better for your body to be happy and joyful about the pasta and meatballs that you’re about to eat rather than suck down kale smoothies all day as you’re stressed out and pissed off.

But now here’s something even more powerful. You just have to watch this video. It’s going to show you how your mind really does control your metabolism and the fact that our food industry made a big move toward “fat-free” and “low calorie” foods is actually contributing to our weight problems. Staying Healthy in Winter

This time of year it’s even more challenging to stay healthy. We don’t get outside as much, we have less light, and the winter blues can take a toll on us emotionally. It’s more important than ever to tend to your energetic health. Learning to do the Daily Energy Routine is a huge step toward staying healthy year-round and last month I got you started with the first exercise. I’m hoping that everybody has tried to incorporate such a fast and simple technique into their daily lives. In case you forgot what that step was, you can find it here.

Now, you are ready to add another step. These moves are so easy that it’s impossible to find an excuse not to do them! Are you ready? This time we are going to simply thump our upper chest. Bunch up all of your fingers so that all the fingers tips are touching.

and then thump on your upper chest just below your collarbone.

These points on your chest can be found by moving straight down from the eyes to the hollow area below the collarbone as shown below. Continuously thump these points while taking 3 deep breathes.

That’s it. How easy is that? In less than 30 seconds you can complete the technique from my last newsletter and this new one. If you incorporate these things into your day every day for 30 days they will become a new habit . . . one that just may change your life!

What Is Vibrational Testing?

If you have come to see me for any services you know that I use a pendulum rather than kinesiology done through muscle testing. It’s basically the same principle because both methods are sensing the energy running through your body. A muscle will go weak in the presence of negative energy and a pendulum will swing in a certain direction under the same condition.

I often get a lot of questions regarding this method of testing. It is usually met with some skepticism because people simply can’t understand how it works, or even believe that it works. I never really questioned why or how it works because I just know it does. You’re allowed to “just know” when you’re a witch like me 😉 But seriously, I started to get very interested in the mechanics and science of it all.

It didn’t take me long to realize that what I was doing went way beyond typical “Psychic/Mental Dowsing.” This is the term for using a pendulum to get simply yes or no answers. I have taken three different courses on Psychic or Mental Dowsing, all along knowing that what I was doing went beyond what the courses were teaching. I realized that what I was doing with my pendulum (touching another person and directly picking up on their energetic changes) was so much more than Mental dowsing but I didn’t know it was an actual ‘thing.’

Until I sort of stumbled upon something called “Physical Radiesthesia.” I know what you’re thinking . . . “How does one stumble upon something so obscure?” Here’s the answer – you don’t. It was no accident that this term was brought into my field of awareness. The Universe made sure that it happened because it was the next logical step for me to progress along my spiritual/energetic journey. It appears that I intuitively figured out that I can use Physical Radiesthesia without even knowing what it was.

Now let me continue by giving some background info for those really curious to learn more about where Physical Radiesthesia came from. I have another short article that you can view by clicking here that will give you some history about it.

Skipping past the history . . .

Physical Radiesthesia is much more technical than Mental Dowsing and has far deeper insights into qualities of energy and their effects than does Mental Dowsing. And this is why I’m now enrolled in a course to teach me all about it. Basically, Vibrational Radiesthesia can:

  • Directly detect the invisible vibrations coming from any person, place, or thing.
  • Differentiate various vibrations from each other to know the exact quality and functions of each separate vibration.
  • Test the vibrations within any part of a living body and how any substance or vibration is affecting the energy of a living being, at any scale (from DNA and cells to organs,  chakras, meridians, the entire body, or any level of the energy field in or around the body.)
  • Tell the exact quality of energy and distinguish highly toxic vibrations from beneficial ones.

Basically, Physical Radiesthesia can develop the human subtle body into an organ of perception allowing it to perceive the invisible vibrational world that is all around us! How cool is that?

Scientists such as Louis Turenne (an Engineer and Professor of Radio Wave technology) began to use these techniques to explore the invisible vibrational world. Turenne knew that we are surrounded by invisible waves that we would never know existed if we didn’t have an instrument to detect them. We have radio waves all around us, and even passing through us, but without an antenna, there is no way of tuning in. I am that antenna!

A Little History Lesson on Vibrational Testing

In the early 1900’s Catholic Missionaries were trained by the Jesuits to be able to survive and thrive in the distant lands they were sent to on their Missions. Using Radiesthesia, the Missionary could find sources of drinkable water and edible food. They could tell drinkable water apart from toxic water and edible foods apart from poisonous plants. They could also discover what plants had healing properties to cure specific illnesses. These skills not only allowed them to survive but they also allowed the Missionaries to make themselves useful to the local people and to show the power of their religion in practical ways.

Jesuit-trained French-speaking Priests in France and Switzerland began to publish articles and books about their own methods of Radiesthesia which allowed the general public to learn and practice these methods for the first time. Once the French Priests had revealed their methods the general public in France started experimenting with these methods. This gave rise to the great movement of Physical Radiesthesia in France, which fully blossomed in the 1930’s.

The term “Physical Radiesthesia” became the general term to describe the Vibrational methods of measuring energy. Radiesthesia literally means “sensitivity to (or detection of) subtle Radiations.” Many French researchers considered their work to be a natural and needed extension of modern Physics because it could detect radiations that the crude equipment of modern science was unable to identify.

Simple Ways to Boost Your Energy and Immunity

Are you wondering why you always feel tired and fatigued?

The biggest reason that most people feel drained, lack energy, and suffer from chronic pain and illness is their lack of “grounding.” What is grounding you ask? Put simply, it is reconnecting and realigning our energies with the Earth. And why is it important? Being well Grounded is an essential foundation for good health. We are energetic beings (we are made of energy) and all electrical devices need to be grounded. We are “grounded” when we are connected to the Earth in a way that allows both fresh energy to enter and feed our body and, just as importantly, excess energy to exit our system. If fresh energy is not able to enter your body and dirty stagnate energy isn’t able to leave it, you are left feeling depleted and tired.

Being ungrounded is becoming an epidemic in our modern world of technology for many reasons. Most people spend most of their time indoors and surrounded by Electromagnetic frequencies produced by all the digital devices. Our exposure to these frequencies (aka EMFs) is increasing rapidly with the expansion of cell towers and wifi and this is directly linked to the increase in chronic health concerns. It’s more important now than it ever was to spend as much time outdoors reconnecting to nature as possible.

Some signs that you may be ungrounded

  • Feeling anxious, spacey or lightheaded
  • Lack of focus, irritability, or feeling scattered
  • Constant busyness and rushing
  • Clumsy or out of balance
  • Inability to complete projects
  • Absorbing the energy, emotions, moods, and feelings of others
  • Impulse to hoard things and money
  • Nerves are fried or feel spacey

Benefits of getting and staying grounded include

  • Reduced levels of stress
  • Decrease in pain inflammation
  • Improved circulation

Simple ways to improve your grounding

  • Rub a stainless steel spoon on the bottoms of your feet for several seconds.
  • Tap on your cheekbones (directly under your eyes) while taking 3 deep breathes.
  • Using all of your fingers, thump on your upper chest just below your collarbone. (These points can be found by moving straight down from the eyes to the hollow area below the collarbone as shown below). Continuously thump these points while taking 3 deep breathes.
  • Massage and stretch the soles of your feet.
  • Walk barefoot on the grass as much as possible and/or sit with your back against a tree.
  • Some good crystals that help with grounding include: Hematite, Smoky Quartz, Shungite, and Jasper. Wearing or carrying these stones in your pocket will benefit you. Find more information on each of these crystals here.

A Resolution to Regain Your Health

The New Year is the perfect time to resolve to get more healthy. We all make those health-related resolutions with such good intentions, but inevitably we don’t stick to them for long. I saw a cute post on Facebook recently that advertised a new gym opening called “Resolutions.” It promised a full array of aerobic classes and work out equipment . . . for the first two weeks. After that, it was scheduled to turn into a wine bar. That’s pretty much the story with most of our resolutions. We stick to them for two weeks and then forget about them.

So to help you stay on track with a resolution of improving your health I thought I would share one fast and super easy technique per month. It will be something that is so easy that you can do it without even thinking about it. Do it every day until my next post (where I will share another easy technique). After you learn the second one you can add it to the first one. Before you know it, you will know the entire “Daily Energy Routine” by heart.

This month’s technique is Tapping the Stomach Meridian

Why is this important? Tapping on the beginning points of the Stomach meridian helps you to Ground and good Grounding is a foundation to maintaining good health. It also helps with digestive disturbances as well as draining the energy of worry and stress from the body.

To do it, just tap lightly on your cheekbones, directly under your eyes. Try starting every morning by tapping these points while taking three long deep breathes.

Bridging Energy Medicine With Western Medicine

Energy Medicine is quickly moving into our health care system and it couldn’t happen soon enough. We have become a society that looks at the body as a collection of separate parts and pieces without recognizing how all the parts connect and relate to each other. Conventional (or Western) medicine seems to focus on illness rather than optimizing health. It is much more “sick care” than health care because it doesn’t do much to prevent illnesses. It only treats them after the patients are already sick. It also doesn’t seem to be able to identify the causes for these illnesses and doesn’t understand the mind, body, and spirit connection within the body. There has been such a huge gap in knowledge for so long and that gap is finally starting to close thanks to Energy Medicine.

It’s time to move away from a medical system that is based on drugs, surgery, and anything coming from outside the body. It’s time that we look inside for all we need to heal. This concept of going inside has ancient roots and has been around since the beginning of time. It’s almost ironic that our system had to advance to incredible levels of sophistication only to realize that the most basic methods are still very valuable and very much needed in our current high tech society.

So what exactly is Energy Medicine?

Let’s start with Einstein’s theory. In a nutshell, he said that all matter (physical things) are made of vibrations of energy. This literally means that every single thing in the Universe, including our physical bodies, is made of energy. Understanding this basic principle is a game-changer on how we view our bodies. It is possible to manipulate this energy with magnets, with crystals, and with nothing more than our own hands. Manipulating the energy field to remove blocks and increase the flow of energy through the body directly correlates to how healthy you will be. This should certainly make us re-think the need for drugs and surgery as our first resort.

Imagine turning to non-invasive methods that integrate mind, body, and spirit with no side-effects as our first means of healing? Imagine if you could do some of these things yourself, right in your own home. Imagine if you had the power to heal yourself without worrying about insurance, huge medical bills, and potentially deadly side effects.

The Missing Mind-Body Connection

The biggest thing that conventional medicine doesn’t address is the role that our thoughts and emotions play in our overall health. This is a fundamental dimension of health care that, as of yet, hasn’t been taught in medical schools. But things seem to be changing. More and more conventional doctors are becoming more open to the idea that our thoughts and fears are projected into our physical health – that there is a direct link between the mind and the body. Learning to control our thoughts is equivalent to learning to control our health and this is why some hospitals are now offering (or prescribing) meditation. Again, an ancient skill that is now coming back to our high tech society because no medical equipment or drug will ever compare to the power of meditation.

There have been many scientific studies with proven evidence that Energy Medicine works. In fact, it has been scientifically established that the Chinese physicians who mapped the acupuncture meridians thousands of years ago were completely right! These meridians are what carry our energy through the body.

Things are Starting to Change

Many Energy Medicine protocols are now being offered in conventional hospitals prior to and following surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or other invasive procedures because they have been known to decrease negative side effects, diminish shock, and expedite healing. It is so great that hospitals are now welcoming these sorts of treatments for patients that are already very sick, but why stop there? How great would it be to welcome in Energy treatments to healthy people as a preventative way to ensure they never need to get as far as surgery or chemotherapy?

The first step is for people to learn how important it is to keep their energies flowing in healthy patterns. The second step is to teach them just how easy it is to do at home every day. It should become part of our daily hygiene just like brushing our teeth. If we can progress our acceptance of this sort of work it will truly change our lives, and I am hell-bent on doing just that . . . sharing and spreading my knowledge of the power of Energy Medicine. Six Myths About Energy Medicine

In a society where modern medicine is the norm and big pharma companies are getting bigger, holistic wellness techniques can be easily overshadowed or discounted. In past years, subscribing to solutions that might be considered “unorthodox” could earn you the label of being “strange” or “unconventional.” The times, however, seem to be changing.

Though people have used complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for thousands of years, research from institutions like the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) and the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) indicates that there is a growing percentage of Americans who are taking their personal health and well-being into their own hands with a more holistic and alternative approach. In fact, statistics show that over a third of the American population seek alternative ways to relieve pain from chronic conditions, improve overall health, and relieve stress. One popular method for CAM is energy healing.

What is Energy Healing?

Energy healing is intended to tune into the body’s frequencies and the subconscious mind in order to pinpoint the stressors, thoughts, and emotions impeding our overall health and wellbeing. Through energy healing, practitioners are reputed to use heightened levels of consciousness and even spirituality to help their clients achieve a mind-body balance that may aid in overall wellness and alleviate many health concerns.

Though it’s been practiced for millennia, many people remain skeptical of energy healing or don’t fully understand it. Energy healing isn’t about magic crystals, incense, and chanting. In fact, energy healing is now being taken seriously by health practitioners across all realms of medicine and is considered a legitimate practice and profession by growing numbers of people around the globe.
Like the aforementioned “magic crystals and incense” myth, there are several common misconceptions about energy healing. After debunking these common myths, you might find that energy healing can benefit you in ways that more traditional methods might not.

Myth #1: There’s no science behind energy healing

One of the biggest energy healing myths is that there is no science behind it and that it’s all pretense. However, that is simply not the case. Along with leading institutions like the NCCAM and NCHS, the NIH’s National Center for Complementary Health (NCCIH) has spent years conducting scientifically-backed research about the potential effectiveness, quality, and benefits of energy healing. Through these studies, researchers have found that energy healing may be used to improve the immune system, reduce pain, facilitate and speed recovery, and much, much more. Myth #2: Energy healing requires you to be religious

Simply put, energy healing is designed to activate the body’s energy systems and remove any negative energies or blocks that may prevent self-healing. In no way does this process require you to subscribe to a particular religion in which you believe in a God. Rather, energy healing is about trusting in a power bigger than yourself (what matters is its significance to you, not whether it’s religious or not) and balancing the energies within your body and mind.

Myth #3: Energy therapy is massage therapy

Though massage therapists might use energy healing techniques in their practice, energy healing is not a massage. Some types of energy healing involve the practitioner conducting a series of hand movements over your body, with the intent of keeping up with the flow of energy. Some other methods may include applying magnets to the meridians of the body, or muscle testing. In no way do these practices involve physically manipulating or massaging your tissues.

Myth #4: Only certified practitioners can apply energy techniques

While using a certified practitioner is very beneficial, there are several ways you might achieve energy wellness for yourself. By starting off visiting an energy practitioner, you should be able to learn many tips and techniques from him or her that you can practice on your own at home. The more professional sessions you receive, the more you will learn to do.

Myth #5: Energy therapy exhausts your own energy

One common myth is that an energy practitioner can transfer energies out of your body and leave you feeling exhausted. But instead, our premise is that energy practitioners work to remove energetic imbalances in order to create better balance and leave you feeling better, not depleted. While there can be some temporary discomfort from processing after an energy healing session (such as high emotions or lethargy), we believe the result is worth it.

Myth #6: Energy healing is a new, modern practice

The practice of energy healing has been around for thousands of years. Prior to the introduction of western medicine, hospitals, and specialized doctors, many turned to the local medicine woman or shaman to maintain or improve health.
