What is Leg Pain Trying to Tell You?

It’s been a while since I posted an article on the hidden secrets behind your chronic pain. I often run into clients with mystery pain in the legs. This post will refer specifically to pain in the hips, calves and general legs. Knees are a whole ‘nother story so please stay tuned for an upcoming article that will talk about the hidden reason for knee pain. If you have general pain in your legs, hips and/or calves, please read on . . .

What is pain in your legs, hips, and calves trying to tell you?

Your hips, legs, and calves represent how you move forward in your life. Your legs, calves, and feet can store much of the trauma, resentment, jealousy, and emotional pain from both your past and present. This is especially true regarding issues that relate to your family. Problems in this area show up as a block in the Root chakra, which makes you feel fearful of moving forward or making changes. Do you feel stuck and unable to move forward in life? Does it feel that something is holding you back? You may also be experiencing issues regarding your self-identity. Other indications may be that you don’t feel any support in your life and you are the one supporting everyone else.

If this sounds like you and you would like to learn how the Emotion Code™ can release any trapped emotions related to resentment and jealousy, please click the button below.

Bridging Western Medicine With Energy Medicine

Energy Medicine is quickly moving into our health care system and it couldn’t happen soon enough. We have become a society that looks at the body as a collection of separate parts and pieces without recognizing how all the parts connect and relate to each other. Conventional (or Western) medicine seems to focus on illness rather than optimizing health. It is much more “sick care” than health care because it doesn’t do much to prevent illnesses. It only treats them after the patients are already sick. It also doesn’t seem to be able to identify the causes for these illnesses and doesn’t understand the mind, body, and spirit connection within the body. There has been such a huge gap in knowledge for so long and that gap is finally starting to close thanks to Energy Medicine.

It’s time to move away from a medical system that is based on drugs, surgery, and anything coming from outside the body. It’s time that we look inside for all we need to heal. This concept of going inside has ancient roots and has been around since the beginning of time. It’s almost ironic that our system had to advance to incredible levels of sophistication only to realize that the most basic methods are still very valuable and very much needed in our current high tech society.

So what exactly is Energy Medicine?

Let’s start with Einstein’s theory. In a nutshell, he said that all matter (physical things) are made of vibrations of energy. This literally means that every single thing in the Universe, including our physical bodies, is made of energy. Understanding this basic principle is a game-changer on how we view our bodies. It is possible to manipulate this energy with magnets, with crystals, and with nothing more than our own hands. Manipulating the energy field to remove blocks and increase the flow of energy through the body directly correlates to how healthy you will be. This should certainly make us re-think the need for drugs and surgery as our first resort.

Imagine turning to non-invasive methods that integrate mind, body, and spirit with no side-effects as our first means of healing? Imagine if you could do some of these things yourself, right in your own home. Imagine if you had the power to heal yourself without worrying about insurance, huge medical bills, and potentially deadly side effects.

The biggest thing that conventional medicine doesn’t address is the role that our thoughts and emotions play in our overall health. This is a fundamental dimension of health care that, as of yet, hasn’t been taught in medical schools. But things seem to be changing. More and more conventional doctors are becoming more open to the idea that our thoughts and fears are projected into our physical health – that there is a direct link between the mind and the body. Learning to control our thoughts is equivalent to learning to control our health and this is why some hospitals are now offering (or prescribing) meditation. Again, an ancient skill that is now coming back to our high tech society because no medical equipment or drug will ever compare to the power of meditation.

There have been many scientific studies with proven evidence that Energy Medicine works. In fact, it has been scientifically established that the Chinese physicians who mapped the acupuncture meridians thousands of years ago were completely right! These meridians are what carry our energy through the body.

Many Energy Medicine protocols are now being offered in conventional hospitals prior to and following surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or other invasive procedures because they have been known to decrease negative side effects, diminish shock, and expedite healing. It is so great that hospitals are now welcoming these sorts of treatments for patients that are already very sick, but why stop there? How great would it be to welcome in Energy treatments to healthy people as a preventative way to ensure they never need to get as far as surgery or chemotherapy? The first step is for people learn how important it is to keep their energies flowing in healthy patterns. The second step is to teach them just how easy it is to do at home every day. It should become part of our daily hygiene just like brushing our teeth. If we can progress our acceptance of this sort of work it will truly change our lives, and I am hell-bent on doing just that . . . sharing and spreading my knowledge of the power of Energy Medicine. Why Do I Feel Anxious?

Excepts of this article reprinted from https://discoverhealing.com (the makers of the Emotion Code.)

For most of us, anxiousness is a passing feeling — a situational thing. Maybe you feel it around your in-laws. It might arise a few hours or days before you take the stage or head to a job interview. But once the experience is over, it usually goes away. But what if it doesn’t? What if you feel anxious often? Does this mean you actually have an anxiety disorder?

Extreme or long-lasting feelings of anxiousness that interfere with your life may be a mental health issue requiring diagnosis or medication from a licensed professional. But simply feeling anxious in certain situations, or from time to time, doesn’t necessarily mean you have this problem.

Have you ever had an experience or time in your life that made you really anxious? Most of us have. But if your body hasn’t fully processed that feeling, it’s possible that this emotional energy can become trapped in your body. This can make you feel like an anxious person, when you might not be that way at all.

If this sounds like you, you might think you’re just “wired that way.” You might keep telling yourself to relax or chill out. Hot baths, reading, meditation, or yoga may bring momentary relaxation, but before long, you might feel wound up again. Unless these feelings get in the way of living your life or make you afraid to get out of bed (see a doctor if they do), a simple trapped emotion of anxiousness could explain why you feel the way you do.

The Emotion Code™ energy healing method could help you feel like yourself again as you release the potential trapped energy of anxiousness. You might feel calmer, lighter, or freer than you have in quite a while.

Benefits of the DER – Daily Energy Routine

First of all, what is the DER? DER is short for the “Daily Energy Routine.” This is a simple set of exercises created by Donna Eden that all energy practitioners do (or should do) every day. It only takes a few minutes and helps to build your immune system, gain energy, feel younger, and relieve pain. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it almost is. But here’s the catch . . . you have to actually do it. Every day.

Here’s a quote that I found in a recent newsletter from the Eden Energy Medicine community.

ENERGY HEALING IN ACTION
87-Year-Old’s Stay-Young Secret!

Marie Long with her son on his motorbike.

“At 87, I feel younger and more supple than ever in my life. I recently visited my son in Japan and was riding with him on his motorbike! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Me, who never even wanted or has ridden even a pedal bike, is now experiencing a great new adventure for an 87-year-old. It has been 26 months since I started doing Donna’s routine, and I said I would give it two years to prove its worth. I will continue to do the Daily Energy Routine for the rest of my life. I have reversed my diagnosed Osteoporosis, displaced vertebrae, collapsed lung, and so much, much more! The “piddling little exercises” as my granddaughter calls them take only about five minutes a day with benefits beyond my belief. God bless you all. One day, Donna, I hope to meet you and give you a humongous hug. I love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. To think, coming from allowing myself to sink into the poor-me-redundant-granny-nobody-needs-me victim roll, I am now a geriatric delinquent biker whom my granddaughter is very proud of! The Daily Energy Routine is certainly my keep-young secret.”  – Marie Long

I do the routine every day and you should too. If you want to learn how, please consider taking my Intro to Energy Medicine Part 1 class.

How Do Emotions Effect Us Physically?

scale of emotions

The Scale of Consciousness, created by Dr. David Hawkin

The image above represents the Scale of Consciousness, created by Dr. David Hawkin and it illustrates the span of different frequencies of various emotions. Positive emotions resonate much higher than negative emotions. Our bodies are resonating at a particular frequency depending on the emotions that we are experiencing and, as humans, we can constantly fluctuate through the different levels on this scale.

Dr. Hawkins has discovered that there is a critical point (when we reach 200 on his scale) where everything that calibrates below this point makes the body go weak and represents as the absence of “truth.” Everything above 200, makes the body go strong and represents the presence of truth. This is how I can use my pendulum to determine if you are telling the truth or a lie. This is also how I can determine if a substance is beneficial or detrimental to you. Non-truths or substances that carry a low vibration will cause your body to begin to resonate to a frequency of less than 200 and that makes your physical body weak. This fluctuation in your frequency can be picked up via a muscle (energy) test or a pendulum.

It is particularly interesting that Dr. Hawkins says that some people’s overall resonance is above the 200 point most of the time, while some others resonate below this point more often. According to Dr. Hawkins, having a frequency of 500 or above is of pure unconditional love, and it is in this state that we are in complete harmony with our body and our environment. But let’s face it, it’s not very easy to remain at this frequency when the stresses of life get in the way.

When emotions don’t pass completely through the body and get trapped in a certain organ, the organ begins to resonate at the frequency of that particular emotion or emotions that are trapped there. Dr. Hawkins’ work would suggest that if we have trapped emotions in the body, we can resonate at the frequency of those emotions, whether below 200 or above. Most of the emotions that get trapped resonate below 200. and having these emotions trapped within us could contribute to lowering our overall resonance, thus “weakening” the body. You can see how the presence of too many trapped emotions can lower a person’s overall resonance. Do you think your overall resonance falls above or below 200? Is your glass almost always half full or half empty? Getting rid of emotional baggage can significantly increase your overall level of happiness.

This is where the Emotion Code™ comes in. It offers a fast and simple way to fully release trapped emotions from the body, thereby increasing the bodies overall frequency. For more details on the Emotion Code, please click the button below.

My Energy Medicine View of Lyme Disease

Lyme map THE REVELATOR

I recently ran across the above graphic that shows the number of reported cases of Lyme Disease in the US between 200 – 2017 and it got me thinking . . . My first thoughts went to a conversation about Lyme that started in one of my recent Intro to Energy Medicine classes. One of the class participants told the story about how she found a tick on her, went to a doctor and was told that the tick bite was nothing to worry about. She later told friends of this and received a whole lot of concerned feedback telling her that she should demand a Lyme test, or worse yet, demand a prescription for antibiotics. I mentioned my feelings . . . that I think the population is just a little too trigger happy with the antibiotics and we are all almost in hysteria over the threat of Lyme. I suggested that maybe our fear of the disease is actually contributing to it.

That prompted another class participant to share her story of getting Lyme disease, despite not having any fear whatsoever of it. She said that she was tested positive for Lyme, but never actually found a tick or a rash. She assumed the tick bite was on her head as a result of spending time under a tree and her hair must have blocked the rash from being visible. When I asked her about what else was going on in her life at the time of this Lyme diagnosis she did admit that her life was full of high stress.

Hearing these stories and seeing that graphic really ramps up my feelings on this subject. I am by no means a Lyme expert, nor a medical doctor, but I do have my own opinions based on what I know about energy, energy psychology, and the way our brains and bodies work.

When I look at the graphic of reported cases, I do wonder if it’s the excessive press about Lyme disease in the areas that it’s bad that creates more and more cases. Is it possible that there are just as many ticks in the parts of the country that have low cases, but there is not constant bad press scaring people into running to the doctor every time a tick crawls on them?

When people flood the doctors, fearful of tick bites and request antibiotics I’m assuming that the doctors must fill out insurance forms to specify what the meds are for. Whether people have the disease or not, they want the meds “just to be sure” and this inflates the “reported number of documented cases” and the more cases we have, the more it’s in the news as an epidemic. It’s a vicious cycle.

I know most people have heard of the placebo effect – taking a fake sugar pill (without the knowledge that it’s a fake) with the belief that the pill can cure us . . . and that belief is the thing that actually cures us! But have you also heard of the Nocebo effect? This is the same principle but in reverse. This is when a doctor gives you a diagnosis and you believe that you’re going to die, so you do. Or you fear a certain disease like cancer, spend way too much time stressing over it and thinking about it, and then you bring the illness on yourself because you believe that it’s hereditary and you’re doomed.

Our thoughts control our health.

So back to Lyme Disease . . .

Even if there’s no specific fear present (as in the case of one of my students) but there’s already a tremendous strain on the body due to stress and other emotional or environmental factors, you are setting yourself up for illness. I think the Lyme disease (or some other illness) may already be manifesting in the body long before the tick arrives. Perhaps in some cases, the tick bite is triggering something that’s already brewing under the surface. Or maybe there was never even a tick bite at all. It just seems to me that Lyme Disease has become an easy and logical way to explain the various symptoms (that may actually be caused by stress) and it seems to be the “Go To” diagnosis these days. I think most people don’t want to hear a doctor tell them that stress is causing their problems because it might sound like a co-op. It’s somehow easier to accept that something outside of themselves gave them an illness. I just want to urge you to understand how important our internal environment is to ward off the toxins and threats from our external environment.

I truly believe that keeping your energies healthy is the first and best line of defense against Lyme disease (and any other disease for that matter). And this includes your emotional energies. Being happy, joyful, grateful, with a positive outlook on life and not fearing the ticks and waiting for the worst case scenario will do wonders.
